At Summer Camp, we nurture a strong sense of belonging and character through a structured yet joyful summer experience. Each day begins with community reflection, ensuring every camper feels seen and valued within our schedule, fostering quick friendships through shared experiences like games and songs. Our ‘Character Counts’ program reinforces our core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, while our dedicated counselors provide a safe and supportive environment where every child truly belongs. Beyond this foundation, camp bursts with engaging daily activities, from gaga ball and pool time to gymnastics and new fun themes every week, all thoughtfully planned to create lasting memories and opportunities for exploration and creativity.

Unit leads are the leaders of each group. They have received 30 hours of professional training before the start of camp.
Professional, energetic, caring staff. All counselors are certified in First Aid, CPR and AED and many have experience at camp or in the childcare field.
Full-day care from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm with light breakfast snack, lunch and afternoon snack daily

Seventeen acres of outdoor space for gaga ball, sandbox fun, soccer, and dance parties

We’re bringing field trips back this summer!

Your child will enjoy 12 weeks of themed adventures featuring the return of field trips to places like Slick City and the Kane County Cougars games. Between trips, we’re bringing the fun to camp with rock walls, foam parties, and water slides.

2026 CAMP PRICING

At the Fox Valley Family YMCA, we are always looking for ways to create the best possible experience for your child. Beginning this summer, camp registration will move to a weekly rate only.

Why the change? A consistent weekly structure allows campers to fully engage in their group, build stronger friendships, and participate in projects and activities designed to unfold across the entire week. It also helps our staff create a more stable and intentional environment where every child feels known, included, and supported. This approach strengthens the sense of belonging that makes YMCA camp special.

Day Camp (K-8th Grade)
$250/week

Campers should be registered for the grade they will enter into in the 2026/2027 school year.
