Youth Basketball
Goals
- SOCIAL: Grasp important life lessons such as the value of respecting their teammates and coaches, the significance of listening during instruction, and the importance of teamwork.
- PHYSICAL: Develop motor skills, balance, flexibility, and agility.
- PSYCHOLOGICAL: Be motivated and inspired by the sport of basketball through the encouraging and fun environment experienced within the program.
- TECHNICAL: Understand the very basics of basketball in regard to how their body interacts with the ball – dribbling through space, change of speed and direction, and shooting.
- TACTICAL: Know the most basic rules of the sport – to understand the boundaries of the field, to become familiar with direction of play, and to become familiar with the concept of a game.
Social Proficiency: Basketball helps kids develop their teamwork skills, which are important in sports and daily life.
Life Guidance: accountability & Discipline: Working as a team requires accountability, time management, and discipline.
Goal Setting: Both individual and group goals should be defined and attained in this sport.

4-6 years old
Our 4-6 program continues to teach all players the basics of youth basketball. For instance, players will learn skills and rules of basketball by maximizing play through practices and games. We inspire players through a fun and skill-based style of play. Our coaches challenge players to excel at the sport. Our goal is that every player will develop a solid foundation in order to thrive, be creative, and find success on and off the court!
PRACTICE: Monday nights at 5:30 PM
GAMES: Saturday mornings starting at 9:00 AM

Our 7-9 program continues to teach all players the basics of the game in youth basketball. For instance, players will learn skills and rules of basketball by maximizing play through practices and games. We inspire players through a fun and skill-based style of play. Our coaches challenge players to excel at the sport. Our goal is that every player will develop a solid foundation in order to thrive, be creative, and find success on and off the court!
PRACTICE: Tuesday nights at 5:30 PM
Evaluations: Our 7-9 year old basketball players will participate in an evaluation process during the 1st week to identify (or determine) the child’s skill level. We will use this process to try to create equal teams, if possible.
GAMES: Saturday mornings starting at 10:00 AM
