Gymnastics

The Fox Valley Family YMCA gymnastics program is patterned after the U.S.A. Gymnastics Federation Junior Olympic Program. We offer beginner through advanced instruction. Our goal is to help each child achieve their highest potential through proper skill progression with safety as our number one concern.

We encourage all our participants to pursue their gymnastics dreams by providing them with the coaches, resources, and encouragement to do so in well-rounded programs for all ages and skills. Strength and aerobic conditioning are an instrumental part of the development in our participants as is building self-confidence, determination, teamwork, sportsmanship and awareness of their potential to set goals and achieve what they thought was impossible.

Our fully equipped YMCA gymnastics training facility, located at our Central Branch, includes uneven bars, balance beams, vaulting table, practice pit, and 40’ x 40’ spring floor exercise mat, plus a "little gym" specifically designed for our Tiny Tykes with low beams, wedge mats, and tot-sized vault.
