All Ages  |  This event is free and open to the public

School's out and it's time to relax, decompress and have fun with friends. Summer is the time for kids to get up, get out and grow. But for some kids, exposure to activities that stimulate the body and mind ends with the school year. In fact, research shows that kids are prone to gain more weight and fall behind in studies.

On April 21, the Y will celebrate Healthy Kids Day, our national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids. YMCA Healthy Kids Day encourages kids and families to stay active, connected and healthy with our annual community-based, FREE family event. We celebrate making fitness fun by introducing kids and families to an array of YMCA programs that teach healthy behaviors and healthy ways to play. Local businesses will also be on hand, offering information on keeping your family healthy and happy.
