Prep Cook/Kitchen Attendant

The Prep Cook is responsible for the overall function, cleanliness, and upkeep of the kitchen.  Daily tasks include menu planning, food ordering, prepping and cooking snacks and lunch, and washing all dishes.  In addition, the Prep Cook must maintain a clean/sanitized kitchen that will comply with the Kendall County Health Department and CACFP rules and regulations.  This position requires a State of Illinois Department of Public Health Food Service & Sanitation License.Applicant should be outgoing, courteous, and enjoy building relationships.

Our School Age Child Care Department is hiring part-time positions to support our growing Before and After School program. Responsibilities include direct supervision of children at offsite school locations in Yorkville, Plano, Sandwich, Somonauk, Leland, Hinckley-Big Rock and Newark. Counselors plan and implement program activities, curriculum, games and crafts. This is a fun, hands-on position and offers the potential for growth within the Y.
